Advising models workshop

Description: Academic advising looks different at every institution, and organizational structure plays a significant role in shaping student experience. This interactive workshop explores common academic advising organizational models, examining the strengths, challenges, and best-fit applications of each approach. Participants will compare models, discuss how organizational structures influence advising practice, and reflect on opportunities to improve collaboration and student support within their own institution.

Representatives from IBHE will also attend this session and speak briefly on their work.

Congratulations to our Best of the Spring Log-In Conference: Jay Jarvis, University of Illinois Chicago, whose presentation was entitled "Cut it Out: Adapting Advising Materials for a New Generation." Jay is invited to present at our Annual Fall Conference at Illinois State University.
