Our December Brown Bag will be hosted by Derek O'Connell, Illinois State University!

A wide range of research indicates that finding meaning is important for student success, in college and beyond. Derek O’Connell from ISU will do a short presentation on the importance of meaning-making, followed by a Q&A and discussion on ways to help students make meaning during their college experience.

In search of: A host for our Annual Spring Log-In Conference!

This virtual, 1-day conference is typically held in May. The cost is free to you and your institution, who will simply serve as the host/facilitators for the virtual sessions. ILACADA will help you along the way with things like the call for proposals, communications and promotions, and guidance for the overall format of the conference (though you are encouraged to think outside the box and bring your own creative approaches!)

Interested in hosting? Contact ILacademicadvisingassociation@gmail.com with any questions!
